For over two decades, the IDC FinTech Rankings list has categorized and evaluated technology providers strictly based on previous calendar year revenue derived from financial service organizations (banking, insurance, or capital markets) and/or directly to fintech solution providers. These 150 companies are the largest fintech’s in the world.
There are two lists, one list called the IDC FinTech Top 100 is for those companies that derive more than one-third of their revenue from the financial services and fintech industries and across no more than two additional key non-FSI verticals. The second list is for those companies supporting four or more key industries and have sufficient revenue from the financial services and fintech industries to be ranked.
The IDC FinTech Real Results recognizes IT providers that have enabled a genuine, measurable, and future enabling change at a client financial institution (bank, capital markets, or insurer) in the worldwide financial services industry.
