AFTERNOON ANGELS PROJECT

Cape Town/South Africa

Afternoon Angels is an initiative supported by Ikamva Labantu, a South African association founded in 1992, that aims to keep children living in the slums of Cape Town safe and off the streets after school.
The Afternoon Angels project was initially set up to reach over 1400 children and provide them with food, resources, protection and support.

In the context of the global pandemic, we extended our support to all categories of the population via daily actions (teaching hygiene practices, preparing meals and distributing bags of essential food).
